Shawn Peter Raul Mendes (born August 8, 1998) is a Canadian singer and songwriter. He attracted a following in 2013, when he began posting song covers on the popular video sharing application Vine. The following year, he caught the attention of artist manager Andrew Gertler and Island Records A&R Ziggy Chareton which led to him signing a deal with the record label. Mendes went on to release an EP and his debut studio album Handwritten, whose single "Stitches" reached the top 10 in the U.S. and Canada.

Fifth Harmony is an American girl group formed on the second season of the The X Factor USA in July 2012. The group consists of members Ally Brooke, Normani Kordei, Dinah Jane, Camila Cabello, and Lauren Jauregui. They signed a joint deal with Syco Music, owned by Simon Cowell, and Epic Records, L.A. Reid's record label, after finishing in third place on the show. Since then, they have released an EP and a full-length album.

Following their exit from The X Factor, their debut single "Miss Movin' On" was released and was later certified Gold in the U.S. Their debut EP, Better Together was released in 2013 with a first week position of number six on the U.S. Billboard 200. The following year, they won the Artist to Watch award at the MTV Video Music Awards.

The group released their debut studio album, Reflection in February 2015. It debuted at number five on theBillboard 200, with 80,000 units sold in the first week and was supported by the group's first major headlining tour, The Reflection Tour. The album was supported by the singles "BO$$", "Sledgehammer" and the U.S. triple platinum "Worth It". The latter also became the group's first top 20 single on the Billboard Hot 100, and reached the top 10 in eight other countries. Fifth Harmony has emerged as the most successful alumni from the X FactorU.S. franchise.

They're just the sweetest girls who care about actually taking the time to talk to their fans whenever they meet them. The girls are always cracking jokes and having a good time and they're not afraid to show it to the#world. They're definitely the type of #people where what you see is what you get. They hide nothing and I love that about them.

3. THEY'RE HARD WORKERS

While rehearsing for the tour, the girls spent 8 hours a day in a dance studio making sure their moves were perfect. They're currently working on their full-length album which will hopefully be out later this year. They've already released four EPs - these girls are always working! Along with recording sessions, the girls are always performing, having meet and greets, doing interviews for the press, etc.

4. THEIR FASHION SENSE

Their tour outfits for the Neon Lights tour are perfect. I love how each one's outfits is a great representation of their personality. When the girls aren't on red carpets or on stage, their casual attire is also great!

Their debut EP, 'Better Together', debuted #2 on Billboard's charts. How impressive is that? They recently performed at MTV's 'Artist to Watch' showcase in L.A. The girls are constantly interacting with fans on Twitter - replying, messaging, and even following fans. I've been to a couple of their meet & greets and although they can only spend about 5 seconds with each person, they make sure to say hi to you individually and even give you a hug. I just think it's so sweet that they put in so much effort to let their fans know they're loved.
